Why Should I trim the wick?
A longer wick creates a larger flame which causes the candle to melt the wax faster, and the wax melts faster that the wick burns away. (click here to learn how to care for your candle)
How long should I burn my candle?
We recommend 4-5 hours at a time. It allows the candle to melt all the way to the edge of the container. Melted wax, not the flame, is what gives off your candle's scent. This will maximize your candle's scent when lit. (click here to learn how to care for your candle)
What are your candles made of?
Remnscent scented candles are made with all-natural coconut apricot wax, locally sourced wooden wicks, and phthalate free fragrances. Just wax, wick, and scent with no paraffin, additives, or dyes.
Where are your candles made?
All of our candles are hand-poured and hand-packaged in our cozy little home, in Orange County, CA.
What makes your candles different from the ones I can buy at the store?
Our all-natural coconut apricot wax is paraffin free. Paraffin wax is refined from crude oil. Compared to paraffin, our coconut apricot wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot. Coconut apricot wax also burns slower that paraffin, so our candles last longer.
